Its not bad enough that Michael has a broken leg and is limited to the activities he can do, but being forgotten and left behind is worse. The other day the kids were all playing in Michaels room and I had brought in a little portable table so he could sit on the edge of his bed and play, (with his cast being up so high it is hard for him to sit in the floor), well they were all playing so I was in the kitchen doing house work, and I heard him yelling for me. When I went in there he was sitting with his chin in his hand and says "mom, could you please move the table and hand me my walker" I wanted to laugh but he looked so sad. Miranda and Matthew just quit playing and went their seperate ways and just left him. Then the other after school he told me one of his teachers forgot him in the room. The teachers don't let him wheel himself around, so when they go to the bathroom or something, they let the other kids go then they come back to get him, well his reading teacher forgot him, so a student who was running behind helped him out. The teacher felt bad and apologized for it, and I have to confess I laughed when he told me. Poor guy! Two weeks down and only 6 to go.

I'm going to get him an air horn. He won't be left behind again!
