Last weekend the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall was by our house so Danny and I took the kids down to see it. What an emotional experience! To see not only all the names of the men and women who died then, but they also had a huge display of dog tags of the names of the men and woman who died it Desert Storm and in the current war in Iraq. Looking at those I realized how lucky I was that my uncle's name was not on there from Desert Storm or my brothers from Iraqi Freedom. To think of the price these people paid for our freedom is humbling! I give my thanks and respect to all who do or have served in any form of the United States Military. The flag is names of police and firefighters who died on 9/11 and the table is the names of all the civilians.
