2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2

What is so great about the number 2? Well lets see! 2 is the number of miles I did this morning on my elliptical in less than 1 hour. Not much I know but for me that is amazing. 2 months ago I didn't think I would last for an hour on the machine! 2 is the number of pounds I have to lose so I can buy my new summer bathing suit! 2 is the number of shorts I had to give away because they are too big and I refuse to ever fit back in them! And 2 is the number of weeks until my little girl makes her talent show debut! Go Miranda. I hope to figure out how to download the video so everyone can enjoy!

I almost broke a hip!

It was confirmed for me this past Friday that I am getting old! And to all of those who think roller skating is like riding a bike, (once you learn how you never forget) let me assure you that is not the case. Friday was Michael's spring field trip. They were going to Spinning Wheels to go roller skating. And once being a regular skater there I thought oh how funny Danny I'll do this field trip with him. So after a talk with Dad Michael agreed to let me go instead of Danny this time. By the way Mr. Crow was still there and looks the same! So we go in get our skates, Michael had never been before, so I help him get his skates on and he stands up and immedately starts to roll and fall all over. So I get him sitting down while I put my skates on, oh yeah I thought I can do this. Wrong! I stand up and almost fell flat on my butt! So Michael is in a big hurry to learn how to do this and get on the floor. So here I am trying to not break my hip and trying to hold him up, and these little kids were rolling by like nothing. I couldn't even do the hokey pokey! So after a few laps hanging on the wall and a couple of falls Michael got the hang of it, me not yet! I never fell but man oh mighty I was sure I was going to break a hip! And I hurt the next day. I am just glad no one was there to get a picture of it. And now to top it all off Michael wants to go again, so does Miranda and he wants to have his birthday there! I guess I will have to go a couple of times by myself to get the hang of it again. But I have to admit it was great being there with just Michael. He is at an age where it is not so cool to hang out with mom. I got the hint when he opted to ride the bus back to school and finish the day instead of going home early with me. I was even going to take him for ice cream. I was sad!

All by myself

This past week Danny and Matthew spent some time together getting things ready to "rock and roll" for the summer. They dewinterized the camper and got the 4wheelers running. And as much as I hated to see it Matthew drove Michael's 4wheeler all by his self! I guess I have to admit that he truely is growing up!

Little guys fiedl trip

Yesterday, my sister and I decided to take Matthew and Dominic to the zoo for a little field trip for the two of them. The older kids had school and the weather was nice so we figured why not. It was so much fun. It is great seeing Dominator, and Mashew getting to be such buddies. (although I think that one may haunt us later!) For Dominic everything was OH WOW and for Matthew is was "Amazing" they really enjoyed feeding the ducks their lunch plus a packet of mayo compliments of Dominic, but all in all it was a blast. Not to mention the time spent with my sister!

My baby is 4years old!

The past 4 years have gone by so quickly! I can't believe that in 4 months Matthew will be in pre school! (Well as long as his bad eye doesn't slow him down!) Okay he really does not have a bad eye. Heres the scoop! When I took him for his pre K screening he wanted to play. So when the lady was doing his eyes, and asked what picture it was he said "I don't know, can't see it I have a bad eye!" And then another teacher who knows him said Oh he does not lets do this and covered one eye to test one eye at a time and then he crossed the uncovered eye! What a little stinker! Only Danny's son would think of that! We celebrated his birthday on the 8th because Danny had to work on the 9th. We went to CiCi's pizza (Matthew's Favorite) and then had cake and ice cream at home! Happy Birthday Mattie Mo!

New Scooter

MY mom got Matthew a new razor scooter for his birthday. (Not one with 3 wheels for little kids, but a big one like Michael's!) And he is already an expert at it. We have been out riding it everyday that it hasn't rained! The nicest part about it is that it wears him out and he goes to bed like a champ! And we have only had one minor injury. He flipped while trying to slow down going down the neighbors drive way and skinned up his noggin a little, but not enough to keep him off of it for more than 3 minutes!

YMCA Birthday

This year Matthew really wanted a swim party for his birthday. So we had his big party at the YMCA. The kids really had a great time! They ate cake then swam for a few hours. Matthew was so excited about going swimming he didn't even want to open presents or eat the cake. At one point I began to wonder if we were going to be able to hold him back he was so excited.

Building with dad!

For Easter my dad and Stephanie got the boys wooden models. So Danny and the boys spent one Saturday morning putting them together. Michael got a tank and Matthew got a bull dozer. Matthew is not pictured because he was to busy to sit still long enough! But I think Danny and the boys had a fun time with them!

Easter Morning

This year for Easter we just stayed home. The kids got their baskets and we just hung out as a family. It was a really nice time. And yes, the kids did eat chocolate rabbits for breakfast!

Easter at Grandma's

Every year we go to Danny's mom's house and have a big dinner and egg hunt. It is always alot of fun. This year Easter being so early it was a little cool but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thanks Geoff for helping Matthew find his eggs! Michael and some of the older kids decided they were to old to hunt the eggs so this year they got to hide them. He is just growing up so fast.
