The Dominator

Last night my nephew Dominic came to have a sleepover so my sister could get things ready for his party. He is always so entertaining. At one point him and Matthew were having a little disagreement and he said "I'll go home", like he could just walk out and leave. He loves playing with Matthew and Michael and he is always so good, I love having him over. Love you Dominic! Who could resist those dimples? I know I'm a sucker for them!

ITS A GIRL!!!

And NO we are not having another baby! We finally broke down and got the kids a puppy. She is a chocolate lab/boxer mix. Her parents live right down the street and the kids fell in love with her the first time they saw her outside playing with the other puppies. Her name is Lucy Mae and she is adorable. Not only are the kids enjoying her but Danny and I are as well. I just can't wait to get her house broke!!!! Its like potty training a kid! The picture of Matthew and Miranda is of them trying to scratch their ear like Lucy does. (it didn't work)

The forgotten one!

Its not bad enough that Michael has a broken leg and is limited to the activities he can do, but being forgotten and left behind is worse. The other day the kids were all playing in Michaels room and I had brought in a little portable table so he could sit on the edge of his bed and play, (with his cast being up so high it is hard for him to sit in the floor), well they were all playing so I was in the kitchen doing house work, and I heard him yelling for me. When I went in there he was sitting with his chin in his hand and says "mom, could you please move the table and hand me my walker" I wanted to laugh but he looked so sad. Miranda and Matthew just quit playing and went their seperate ways and just left him. Then the other after school he told me one of his teachers forgot him in the room. The teachers don't let him wheel himself around, so when they go to the bathroom or something, they let the other kids go then they come back to get him, well his reading teacher forgot him, so a student who was running behind helped him out. The teacher felt bad and apologized for it, and I have to confess I laughed when he told me. Poor guy! Two weeks down and only 6 to go.

Hill 5, Michael 0

Saturday Danny and I thought it would be fun to take the kids sled riding. Which it was until Michael crashed at the bottom and broke his leg. Now he is in a cast from his toew to the middle of his thigh, using a walker and a wheel chair at school. But then I guess being injured does have some advantages. Like today Michael's friend from pre school, Kaden sent him a get well basket. I thought it was flowers but Nope, it is loaded with candy. Well 2 days down only 7weeks and 5days to go.
