It started snowing well sleeting Monday and did not stop until late Tuesday. The kids have been out of school for two days and it has already been called off for tormorrow. Yesterday Danny was home so we all went out to play. We took the sleds up to the church by our house and went down the big hills. Danny drove the 4-wheeler and we all took turns being pulled and he would fling us down the hill. It was a blast. I think it was the most fun I have ever had sled riding!

Bowling
Last week Matthew had his bowling field trip with pre-school. You need something to laugh about just take a preschooler bowling. Matthew got a spare his second time up and his little friend managed a strike! I'm not sure which was funnier, watching the kids try to carry the ball or watching them wait for the ball to make it to the end of the lane. A couple even got stuck so someone had to go get them. Check out his form. His ending score was a 56 (I think that may beat my all time high!)
See Snow, Must Sled!!!
The kids have been waiting all winter for real snow. Last Friday Matthew and I were home alone and it started barely snowing, well Matthew insisted he needed to play and that there was plenty of snow. Needless to say there wasn't quiet enough for sled riding, but he gave it his all! There was however plenty of snow for a snow angel!

Bringing in 2009
This year was the first year in I can't remember that Danny was off both New Years Eve and New Years Day, so we decided to get together with some friends. I think it is safe to say that a fun time was had by all. With the exception of Dominic being chased with the turtle and Max getting shot in the face by a nerf gun. (sorry for laughing at that Max!) The adults talked and laughed and the kids played and had fun. The guys golfed with the wii and the kids did mario cart. I hope with the new year we will get together more than last year. (picture #2 is Dominic running from the turtle. The boy can haul bootie when needed!)
Best Buddies
Over the Christmas Break we did a little kid swaping. Michael went to my sisters, Miranda went to my Aunts and Dominic came to our house for a sleep over with Matthew. The two of them were so fun to listen to and watch! They played cars, guns, took a bath and helped me make cookies. They both slept in my room in the floor so they could watch racing before bed and woke me up with a sleepy head john. It is so fun to see them becoming such good friends I know that as they get older my sister and I better watch out, because what one doesn't think of the other one will. I am currently looking into getting them matching shirts. That say either Thing 1 and Thing 2 or Monkey see , Monkey Do!
2008 Holidays
Sorry it has taken me this long to post but we are just getting back into the grove of things. Also you will find no pictures of Christmas this year, because I hit the wrong button on the camera and deleted all of them! However we had a wonderful Christmas. We got to see lots of family and spend lots of time together. Everyone we healthy and the weather did not get to bad. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas as well!
