Thanksgiving 2009

I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Be safe in your travels and have fun. Remember all the things you are thankful for. I am thankful for God sending his Son to die so I can live, I am thankful that He has trusted me to be mom to my wonderful three kids and bringing Danny into my life so many years ago! I have so much to be thankful for. Please remember or service men and women if it weren't for them we would not be celebrating this day!

Grandpa at his best!

Sometimes Grandpa just needs his own blog! Dad came down to the house to bring me some drinks for Michael since he was sick, Danny was at work and I did not want to drag him out. Any way here is how dad ended up. First he was a snake wrangler and then decided to put on Matthews hat. (which his head almost got stuck in!) the kids found him very entertaining!

Many post in one!

Okay so I am behind on my blogging. But hey we have been busy! Lets see, after the weekend at Great Wolf Lodge we have celebrated Michael turning 11. I can't believe he is already 11 almost a teenager. He is growing into to such an extraordinary young man and I am so proud of him. I have had parent teacher conferences and all kids are doing wonderful with straight As. Way to go kids! I am now down 20lbs in the never ending battle of weight loss! Halloween has come and gone. Michael was a zombie, Miranda was a go go girl, and Matthew was a skull ninja! Danny was working so the kids and I just went trick or treating down our street and then to a couple other houses. Michael was sick so we did not go to church or anywhere else! Matthew has been diagnosed with asthma which we are working to get under control, all three are still doing tae kwon do and still doing very well. I think they are all close to advancing to the next levels. And last but not least we went to Bounce U to celebrate Alex's Birthday. That place is crazy but a lot of fun. There is big blow ups for the kids to play in and then there is a tee ball game, a climbing wall and air guns for the kids to shoot balls at each other and a big boxing ring with the huge gloves! I think that sums up everything and I will try to keep up on my blogging!

Kansas City

This past weekend while Danny was working at the race track with Kelly Angie and I and the kids all drove out to spend the weekend in Kansas. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge. All I can say is AWESOME! The indoor waterpark was awesome as was riding in the race car going 150+mph! Danny drove, I chose not to drive and got to ride with an instructer! FUN FUN FUN. And I'm not even a big race fan! But I do believe a good time was had by all! And yes that is pictures of the kids jumping from bed to bed, but they know the rules! "You can only jump on the beds at vacation!" (hotels)

Old Picture

A couple of weeks ago my mom gave me a tub filled with old pictures and stuff from when I was little and I found this picture in it. Back when the dimples in my butt were cute! For some reason this has always been one of my favorite pictures!

Pictures from Sissy's Birthday

Pictures from the firehouse.

Miranda turned 9!!

I can't believe the past 9 years have gone by so fast! It truly is an honor and a blessing to be a mother to such a wonderful, sweet, caring and smart girl. Miranda I hope you enjoyed your birthday. We love you baby girl! This year Miranda did not want to have a big party, she just wanted a girls night. So she invited one of her friends to stay the night and we took the boys to my sisters. (thanks again Aunt Angie). After we took the boys to Angie's sis wanted to show Camryn the firehouse that Danny works at so it was off to the firehouse. Then back home for a quiet evening, the girls did their nails and hung out in the bedroom and I well hung out by myself! Maybe next time I should have a friend over to so I won't be so lonely!

Future Fire Fighters

What can I say Mattie looked like a little BobbleHead! Hopefully he will grow into the uniform! It was hysterical watching him try to walk in the boots that way more than he does!
