Vacation 2008

Okay I know it has been a long time since my last post, but hey the kids are out of school and we are busy. We just spent a week camping for a vacation this year in our new camper. And a good time was had by all. First we went to Santa Claus IN and camped at Lake Rudolph and spent two days at holiday world. And that was awesome. They had one big water slide that all five of us were able to go on at the same time on a raft and I think Danny and I giggled and screamed as much as the kids. Matthew mastered the slide in Crocodile Isle and the wave pool almost took us all out. The kids were trying to stand up and as soon as they would get half way up another wave would hit them and they were down again. Then the same thing happened to Danny only when the wave hit him the back of his trunks came down and all I heard was him "my pants came down." And looked to see an elderly lady sitting and laughing! The wave pool was just like the ocean with out all the sand! We did go fishing at the lake and Danny and Michael both managed to catch turtles! From Indiana we went to Rend Lake. We spent one day at the beach and one day out on the pontoon boat with a friend of ours and his two girls. We were going to go to another location but the severe storm on Tuesday night that soaked everything kind of did us in so we headed home. I am pleased to say we all returned in one piece with out to bad of sun burns. I am sorry however that I did not take but maybe 5 pictures and still have to download them so I will post them after I down load them.
