Last night Austin and Alex came to have a sleep over and the kids ended up playing a crazy game of twister. It was so fun to watch them. Matthew would fall as soon as his hand hit the ground, and between Austin and Michael all you could see was legs. Man them boys are tall! And I guess the evening wore them out, because today on the way to Angies for Christmas with my mom Alex was asleep 5 minutes after we got into the car. And again the kids had a great time with yet another celebration of Christmas.

I'm ready to go!
Christmas at Nan na's
Every year Allyce tries to find a day when Danny and Rhonda are both off work, which can be challengeing due to their careers, that we can all get together and celebrate Christmas. This year Tony and Kelly were able to be here, which makes it even funner. Matthew and Brayden are starting to play so good together. Brayden said they are best buds as they sat in Grandma's chair to watch a movie. And when it was time to open presents the paper was flying every where.
Christmas '07
Christmas has been pretty good this year. Of course the kids made out like bandits, and I got my eliptical machine I have been wanting and Danny is getting an arrow saw or some sort of archery thing, but the best part has been visiting with family. Not only did Danny's brother and his family make it in, but My brother and his family were home as well! It was great seeing everyone!

Horses are Dangerous
Today while cleaning out closets Matthew grabbed one of the four wheeler helmets and told me "I need this to ride Josiah (his stick horse named after his friend at church), He is danges mom I am so serious!" Then he came running in and of course I grabbed the camera! This horse must be dangerous to need a cycle bike helmet! He also informed me that should he get hurt I needed to call 991 to get the "amlance" ! I was pretty impressed since we really haven't dicussed the whole 911 thing with him and him only being 3!
Snow Day
We got the first good snow we have seen in a couple of years and the kids have loved it! As soon as the ground turned white they were ready to be in it and wondering if they would have school on Monday! Which they did not! Sunday they were out at 9:30am. They had a blast! This was the first year Matthew has really played in the snow, but I think he as enjoyed eating it more than anything!
Christmas Baking
With the snow and ice that we got this weekend, we decided to do some christmas baking. We decorated a ginger bread house and cookies. Danny we even home to enjoy the fun this year. Usually it just happens to be a day he is at work, but this year he was home and I think he had as much fun as the kids.

Let the Holidays Begins
Last night we began our holiday festivities with our Christmas party with Uncle Roger and Aunt Kathy. Everyone had a great time and of course the highlight of the evening was when Santa arrived. Okay, maybe Santa wasn't the highlight for everyone, namely Dominic and Weston, but I think the rest of the kids were excited. Matthew and Quinton kept remembering things to tell him. Matthew made sure the reindeer enjoyed the food he sent them and Thursday, and when Santa asked Quinton what he wanted he replied "I just told you at Wal-Mart." But I think the funniest thing was when the kids opened their treat bags and found the snowman poop inside! I just want to say Thank You so very much to Uncle Roger and Aunt Kathy for a very fun evening!

Winter Wonderland 2007
This year at the winter wonderland Matthew got to meet Santa, make decorations, make reindeer food and make his own snack. He was so funny. He talked to Santa at least 4 times, one time he asked if he could go to the North Pole with him and Santa told him it was cold Matthew response was "thats okay I have a coat!" Then Santa got an o crap look in his eye and tried to think of something else to say, and of course there were no other kids in line so he couldn't even use that as an excuse. I'm not sure how he pacified him but something must have worked because he hasn't mentioned it since. Then the reindeer food was supposed to be sprinkled on our lawn on Christmas Eve to make sure Santa would stop, but Matthew insisted the reindeer would need to eat before their long trip and he was "serios" so he gave his food to Santa right then and there. But the most exciting part for me was watching him make his decorations. Last year it was glob the glue and pile the fruit loops. This year he took his time and tried really hard! If you look at the pictures of the two ginger bread boys you will notice the one has holes bitten through it from him eating the cereal off on the way home, this year all the cereal remained on the decorations and he even requested that we hang them high, so "Dominator wont eat them!"
